Cause

TCL isn’t an error code. This is an indicator that the Tub Clean cycle either is running or needs to run.

On some models TC is displayed then the L is displayed.

Solution

TUB CLEAN cycle is specially designed to remove detergent residue build-up.

(Detergent residue that builds up over time can lead to a mildewy or musty smell.)

• Recommendation for end-user is to run Tub Clean cycle at least once a month to prevent buildup of mold and odors
• Do NOT use this cycle with clothes in the unit
• Do NOT add detergent or fabric softener

For Tub Clean cycle:

• Press power button; press and hold Extra Rinse Button until “tcl” is displayed
• Press Start Button
