DC PEAK / COMPRESSOR OVERCURRENT ERROR

Cause

Supply Voltage Issue.

Solution

Make sure the supply voltage to the unit is within correct range.

Check the spec sheet to see if the unit is 115V/208V/230V and that the actual supplied voltage +/- 10% of the rated voltage required.

Cause

Fan Defect.

Solution

Check to make sure fan is operating properly.

Cause

Airflow Restriction.

Solution

Make sure coils are clean and unit is properly installed with correct clearances.

Cause

Defective Main PCB, Compressor, or Refrigerant Leak.

Solution

Test Compressor circuit, Check for wiring harness issues. Check output voltage from Main PCB. Look for signs of leak.

  1. We need to know some case, Ch21 occur about 1h after ac compressor operate.
So how can we check to found the defect fast way weather ODU PCB or Compressor is defect?

    1. If the coils are clean and no airflow issues are found, the fan and compressor are testing correctly, and the supply voltage is correct and steady and the code occurs intermittently then the board could be the issue. Unfortunately there is not a test mode or any other diagnostics for the window AC’s. But if all the steps in the troubleshooting article are passing then PCB would be the recommendation to try.
