ezDISPENSE DRAWER IS OPEN
Cause
**This is a courtesy message to inform the customer that the dispenser drawer is not closed properly.**
The Dispenser Drawer closed switch is not activated.
Solution
Open the Dispenser Drawer and reinstall.
Cause
The Dispenser Drawer switch is defective.
Solution
Check the Dispenser Drawer Switch for continuity.
Step 1: Locate the ezDispense drawer.
Step 2. Locate the Drawer Switch and Drawer Switch Stud.
Step 3. Check operation.
Make sure the drawer slides in and out freely and engages the pump and sensor connections.
TESTING THE DOOR SWITCH
Remove the back cover from the control panel, remove the water valve assembly, the drawer switch will be accessible here and will read approximately 16Kohm with the drawer out, and approximately 1 ohm with the drawer in place.
If checking using the continuity setting, should read OPEN (No Beep) with drawer open and CLOSED (Beep) with the drawer closed.
*If the drawer switch is bad you will need to replace the complete ezDispenser Housing Assembly, also if the sensors or pump are needed, the whole assembly will need to be ordered.
