Cause

The “HS” indicator will illuminate any time the cooktop is greater than 150ºF

Solution

This is not an error code and is only an indication of cooktop too hot to touch.

If surface is room temperature check the continuity of the hot surface switch on the burner for stuck closed.

The switch may need to be replaced.
