Flex Top Sensor Failure
Cause
Open or Shorted Left CTS Top Thermistor
Solution
1.Check the Top Sensor connection. (Open)
2.Check The Top Sensor Resistance. (Short)

Check the connector CN11T, make sure, it is connected properly.
The “Top Sensor for Single Burner” as pictured below is the sensor located in the center of the burners. These sensors will have four wires, (two black wires and two white wires).
The sensor will be the two Black wires, and should read approximately 50K ~ 60K ohm At room temp, 70°F.
The two White wires are for the Thermal Fuse and should read closed.
The “Sensor for Flex Burner” shown above is the sensor located between the front and rear burners and is used when the burners are bridged together. This sensor only has two black wires to test.
Test the two Black wires, and should read approximately 50K ~ 60K ohm At room temp, 70°F.
Below is an example showing how to test the four wire sensor:
If the Sensor Ohms out correctly, replace the PCB.
If the Sensor is out of spec, replace the Sensor.
