1. If freezer is over 45F, you cant enter TEST 3. (plug in a test thermistor and put in ice in a plastic bag)
2. In a dual evap system in TEST 3, the first press will test FF DEF first, then another press will test FZ DEF.
1) Correct, depending on model, if the defrost sensor is reading above 46-55F the unit will skip the defrost step in test mode.
2) Test 1 runs full cooling to both evap coils, Test 2 runs the Refrigerator Section evap only, Test 3 energizes both defrost heaters at the same time when the screen shows “33 33” for dual evap models.
