DEFROST HEATER ERROR
This error code may be displayed as either E rdH, or E fdH, reflecting Fresh food area, or Freezer area, respectively.
Cause
Defrost Failure, the Defrosting Sensor does not reach 40° within 80 minutes after starting defrost. Short or disconnection of the Heater Circuit.
Solution
Check the wiring and connections at Defrost Controller (Evaporators), and at the Main PCB.

No resistance on defrost heater
Replaced fresh food Evap, unit had a sealed system issue as well
Please check heater voltage on main PCB connector. Example, CON 7: Pin 6 & 12. If test mode 3 doesn’t display 120 v, possible inoperative main PCB.
